Legal sports betting California:

California sports betting got a preliminary hearing from state lawmakers last week, joining several other states considering legalization in 2020.

A total of 20 states have legalized some form of sports betting. Michigan is the latest state to do so with legislation that passed in December. While sports betting operations in many states are still in their early stages, the legal industry has shown signs of growth.
