US Sports Betting Still Growing:
————————————————–
The growth of US sports betting is still fast and furious. However, it took a special session of the state legislature and an agreement with the Seminole Tribe to make Florida sports betting a reality. Making gambling news as the single largest expansion of gambling in state history. Residents may have a bit of a wait before any actual sports betting in Florida takes place. The agreement must be approved by Federal regulators.

Additionally, a Maryland sports betting bill that was signed into law by their Governor just this week. In addition to land based betting on sports, the state will also issue mobile sports betting license. And Senators in down south recently voted 31-6 on a bill to allow Louisiana sports betting on smartphones, in casinos, at approved kiosks, and even in restaurants that serve liquor. The bill must now go before the Louisiana House.

Meanwhile, state senators also approved Massachusetts sports betting legislation which they included in their $47.6 billion budget. The situation is still a bit confusing, as two State Senators filed competing bills to regulate the activity. Plus, over a dozen lawmakers have also filed sports wagering bills.

And don’t look now, Don’t look now, but Tennessee sports betting has now collected more than $1 billion in wagers since the industry launched in November, even as wagers slowed down in April. .For more stories on US sports betting and gambling news, please visit our website:
