  1. I just wanted to add that I appreciated all the votes and comments on the poll in the community tab. I know several people mentioned Cincinnati Kid as being worthy and I have to say, I agree, although it would have not made my top five. There are probably a dozen good films that could be added to any top ten list. These are mine, and I hope you enjoy them. Let me know what yours are.

  2. I enjoy your content, interesting stuff. Hard Eight, with Philip Baker Hall, is a favorite of mine. Also Pool Hall Junkies, thought equally gambling and billiards, is one of the best indie films I've ever seen.

  3. Your list is first rate…..However, there are 3 more movies to warrant Your Top 15ish list, let’s say…..The three for me are The Cooler, Mississippi Grind, and The Big Town, my favorite of the three…..It’s a little-known Canadian production exclusively about the game of Craps……Has an all-star cast with Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Bruce Dern, Lee Grant, and Tom Skeritt……Think You might like it……:)

  4. Great list. One of my top 5 ,not in the list is "god of gambling. " It is an old Hong Kong movie, starting Chow Yun Fat. (He appears in one of the Piretts of Caribbean movie as a main villain.
