Hey if you’re reading this, thanks for checking out the description. Sorry that I’ve been gone for awhile, but don’t worry I’ve still been working hard. Pretty soon (and I mean this as ‘odd1sout’ amount of soon) I’ll be dropping big news. It’s the biggest news I’ve ever dropped. I can’t wait until I’m allowed to talk about it! Thanks again for reading and have a day!!!

  1. When I hear someone explain all this I’m just like “… so… you’re just using your imagination… it’s playtime… you’re just a kid in playtime.”

  2. well this video aged terribly, i love you odd1sout, been watching u since middle school and in college now, but holy shit u are feeding these kids bs about the covid vax and it’s effects, or lack thereof

  3. Despite having mild aphantasia, I've been an escapist for pretty much my entire life. And I started early. Like, I was 7 years old spending whole days daydreaming about turning into a wolf and running away from society to live in a forest with my wolf brethren and sistren for the rest of my life. Which later evolved into countless other fantasies of living drastically different lives from my real one but my main point is: If shifting had been popular when I was young, it would've ruined my life for sure. Even now that I've acknowledged that I've crossed the end lines of healthy daydreaming habits, and I do my best to anchor myself, I still slip up and zone out pretty often. I still usually can't fall asleep without fabricating a scenario with my favorite fictional world/one where I'm leading a different life. I can't even imagine what would've become of me if I had these people telling me that it's actually possible to live in these alternate realities and that I just need to try harder when I was a child.

I can see how it could help people cope, but it's very easy to cross the already blurry and thin line between healthy and unhealthy coping mechanisms with stuff like this. Escapism is only healthy to a degree, and can end up making you even more miserable than you were before if you let it take too much of a hold over your life. And I don't think I need to mention how easy it is for kids to do this to themselves without even knowing they're doing it. It's especially dangerous for kids/people with dissociative disorders (ranging from maladaptive daydreaming to schizophrenia) who don't realize they have those disorders and end up being tricked into indulging in episodes and thinking that 1) it's normal 2) they should keep doing it/trying harder to do it better

  4. Due to a bad home life, I hardcore wished for an anime world to be real. I was open to living in the worlds of Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, and Sailor Moon. It never happened though…

  5. im a "reality shifter" but i feel this is true i dont beleive im moving my conciousness i just thinknim maling up my own dream world and then going there in my DREAMS not like im teleporting my whole mind

  6. As somebody who doesn’t shift, it hurts me that Hogwarts isn’t real and that I can’t live in the world because despite the fact wizarding world of Harry Potter is literally right in Orlando and yet we can’t go-

  7. Thanks for this video, I came here after watching a bunch of videos about shifting and I needed to see somthing that my mind can actually comprehend as reality 💀

  8. Some say it so and some say it isn't. Is it impossible? Seems like many things were once thought impossible. I read one argument that says if it's true then how come people only recently started doing it. I don't know, why didn't we have vehicles long before we did? How about cellphones? Besides hasn't science proven that all matter is just energy? Everything vibrates at a certain speed that it just appears real. So who knows what the limits are or what's ultimately possible? Mankind is still catching up, history proves that.

  9. No but imagine an alternate me trying to jump into my reality and pretty much hijack my life. I'm gonna wanna fight back but how would I even do it? A battle of consciousnesses?
