Putting $1000 in a machine and losing most of it to finally win something at the end is still a loss. High limit players like yourself do it all the time. When you’re doing huge bets, you will get many jackpots per session and often still lose money overall. Someone might only see the jackpot and think you’re winning big. They don’t know that in reality your multiple small jackpots still weren’t enough to overcome the money you actually lost.
