ESF funding in the UK is only available for projects already started during the UK's EU membership. The EU has no obligations regarding new projects that could potentially be funded with ESF funding and repurposing money allocated for those existing projects means termination of other existing ESF funded projects. This is all part of winding down EU entanglements in the UK. The only possible exception is Northern Ireland where it may be possible to get funding for certain cross-border projects.
