I had a strange thing happen to me at Seneca Casino in Niagara. I won a jackpot of 1500$ and when they came to pay me the attendant said the machine wasn’t taking off enough tax. As a Canadian they usually withhold 30%. The attendant said she went to 3 different terminals and each one only took off 45$, so she was instructed to pay me 1455$. About an hour later a supervisor came and explained the machine malfunctioned and they needed the money back. I told them I had spent some of it already, so they asked me to pay for the taxes and give them 405$ to cover the taxes I should have paid. Overall it was very weird and distressing. 🇨🇦🎰
